
Jason Cheang joins Hill+Knowlton Strategies as the Director of Integrated Communications for the Singapore office.
Jason is an experienced digital strategist who began his career in International Communications under the Singapore Tourism Board. He went on to helm the youth marketing portfolio as well as the Digital Strategy team; and was also the marketing lead for signature events such as the Singapore Fashion Festival, Christmas in the Tropics, Great Singapore Sale & ZoukOut.
Jason was awarded STB’s Value Award, Super Value Award, Ministry of Trade and Industry’s Excel Activist Award; and was Singapore’s representative in the ASEAN’s Marketing Task Force. He went on to help craft Singapore Institute of Technology’s integrated marketing strategy and digital roadmap and ran his own digital & events agency, which was successfully acquired by an Australian digital agency. Prior to joining H+K, Jason was the Head of Digital, Asia Pacific & Japan for the Metia Group.
With over 16 years of marketing experience, he has managed retainers, projects, and digital training for brands like the STB, Sentosa Development Corporation, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Education, National Environment Agency, GovTech, Building & Construction Authority, Singtel, Starhub, Dell Technologies, Check Point Software Technologies, Rubrik Inc., Costa Coffee, Marks & Spencer, British Council, CapitaLand Ltd, Citibank, and Nanyang Polytechnic.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the National University of Singapore.
