Matthew Briant

Matthew is Managing Director of Hill+Knowlton Strategies – Singapore, a central hub for our Asia Business.

He has over 10 years’ experience in Singapore working within media, agency and client organizations to define end-to-end communication frameworks for the regions diverse collection of markets and cultures.

Matthew has been instrumental in growing the business to include Global brands such as Spotify, Salesforce & Essilor into our portfolio of regional clients. As Head of H+K’s Innovation + Creative Studio in Asia, Matthew was instrumental in launching our Executive podcast suite in Singapore and also built H+K’s Made2Measure offering, data visualisation and reporting platform that can effectively capture, analyse and present large sets of complex data in a more simplistic way to uncover insights effectively.

Matthew  is also responsible for spearheading H+K’s Sustainability Consulting offering, Better Impact across Asia. Under his leadership, we launched Project Impact, a platform designed to connect brands and businesses with NGOs to help facilitate impactful collaborations for a better future.

Prior to joining H+K, Matthew was known for transitioning branded content, media, and data, in-house at The Walt Disney Company, where he was responsible for all branded communications across Marvel, Star Wars, Disney & Pixar. Building an engaged fan base of more than 200m people in Asia. Prior to this, Matthew was a Director at Dentsu Aegis Network, where he led the communications strategy for Mondelez, Fuji Xerox and The Sands Group across the region.

At H+K, Matthew and his team help clients to protect, enhance or build their brand’s reputation in the media and with their key stakeholders, at a time when both story formats and the media landscape are rapidly evolving across the region. Matthew believes in building teams made up of great human beings, that professionals want to be a part of, and brands want to partner with.
