Selena Sheikh leads the Technology practice at Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Singapore and has close to 20 years of experience as an in-house and agency communications professional. A B2B technology specialist, she has worked with many global clients and companies in the technology, emerging technology, science, corporate, tourism, education and government sectors. She also coaches C-suite clients and advises them on thought leadership programmes, stakeholder relations and media strategy and engagement.
Prior to Hill+Knowlton Strategies, she was the Executive Director and Co-Founder of a boutique PR agency, where she was the Technology and Event PR lead. Her client retainers included LASALLE College of the Arts, Hitachi Vantara, Horangi Cyber Security, IPI Singapore for TechInnovation and Koelnmesse Pte Ltd, where she led media relations for events such as EmTech Asia, SIGGRAPH Asia and IDEM Singapore. She has also worked with global PR agencies and MNCs such as Thuraya Telecommunications (Dubai), Tyco Fire & Security and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Selena has advised many global and regional companies, including Arm, Bushiroad SEA, OANDA, L’oreal (For Women in Science), Web in Travel, FASTBOOKING, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Salesforce, and government clients such as Singapore Tourism Board, National Research Foundation and Media Development Authority, on corporate reputation, thought leadership and stakeholders engagement programmes.
Selena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Oklahoma City University and is conversant in Mandarin.
